Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very helpful for AP French students
Review: I'm currently in AP French and our class is reading The Little Prince in French. Le Compagnon Du Petit Prince has been extremely helpful with both comprehension and vocabulary. I regard it highly.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Fine, but....
Review: This is a good solid book, but it would benefit from a more imaginative approach. It is very cut and dried, the sort of approach kids would expect from "les grandes personnes". More room for thought and imagination is needed.
Also, the text would be vastly easier to use if there were a companion teacher's edition/guide. Still, if you want kids to pull Le Petit Prince apart leaf by leaf, this book will do it very thoroughly. It is good for teaching French, but not for inculcating a love for French (or any other) literature.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Complementary lessons for Le Petit Prince
Review: This is the perfect source for outlining vocabulary by page and line. Exercises include vocabulary integration, reading comprehesion questions, written expression in French based on story, grammar, and dictation exercises are also included which offer the student exposure to listening comprehension.

The is a wonderful aid for teachers' lesson plans, as it organises class activities based on the chronological order of the story and offers practice of specific functions as the students encounter similiar representations of such in their reading.
