Rating: Summary: Analysis brings a lot of light. Review: I've been a fan of John Crowley's fiction for many years, ever since I first stumbled into a trade paperback of 'Little, Big'. Some of his other work is much more challenging- and the sort of thing you want to discuss with someone else, to see what they got out of it. This book gives you a great deal of critical thought and analytical examination of this author's stories- which only serves to sharpen their observation, to render them far stronger than they were. I found this a very worthwhile purchase, and have spent quite a lot of time reading it. It's not a good starting point for Crowley's work, I would say: you should pick up Little, Big for that. But if you've read the stories and wish you had more to read- this is most definitely something more for you to read.
