Review: Not many sauna books have been written in the past twenty years, and if there had been a spate of them, this one--Some Like It Hot: The Sauna, Its Lore and Stories--would be the only one you need. It not only details the ancient history of saunas (including a story of how they possibly got started), the uses of the sauna (anyone for some sauna sausage?), as well as humorous sauna stories (during WW II, Finnish soldiers taking a sauna stayed in so long they found themselves behind enemy lines when they came out.) This book also discusses health reasons for taking a sauna, and is just simply a fact-filled, information-laced, fun book.
