Summary: The story that painted a picture
Review: "Rube", by James Huddleston, captured my attention like no other story I have read. I use to live relatively close to the location in which this man lived his entire life, and have fished within a stones throw of his residence. In reading this book, I found myself living the story, and painting a picture of all the events as they occurred chapter by chapter. The author, who also plays a very big part in this book, did a fantastic job of depicting his younger years in with the lifetime of the principle character. As I read each chapter, I noticed I have similar interests as the author, and I would like to meet this gentleman to hear more about his past, and learn even more about his friend Rube Alcorn.

Summary: Rube: If you start reading it, it's a must finish.
Review: Rube is a story told in such great detail that one becomes absorbed in it. The reader quickly begins to sympathize with Rube as he is faced with difficulties. The author makes the story so true to life that you experience what it was like to live Rube's adventures. It's a tale well told with all of life's emotions. You will definitely enjoy this book!

Summary: Tugs at your Heart
Review: This book is not one to be read in your spare time. Once you start, plan on reading until the end because you WON'T be able to put it down. If you have never lived in TN, I bet you'll be planning a move there soon.Huddleston writes from his heart, and it's the best heart I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Cheers to you Mr.Huddleston, you made me wish I lived in your world!
