Rating: Summary: In the Depths of His Eyes...my friend. Review: ...David Chiem has passed on... I received a msg from his msn account a few weekZ ago from his brother. I could be considered a friend..or..I could be considered not. Anything you other criticZ say is from your own perception. but why bring down anyone who has the guts to pour their heartZ out in content and poetry? I would recommend this book to everyone or anyone who has depth in their own eyeZ..and their heartZ. Inspiring, Inexplicable, Incommensurable and Unsurpassed...Just as David Hoang Chiem's memory is...- [ j e N ] .
Rating: Summary: relaxing and exciting Review: I enjoy reading this book. Haven't finished it yet but the poems are of such different styles and emotions. Usually poems bore me, but after having read some of his poetry online before his book was published, I realized how easily I can understand his poems as opposed to others. I have a feeling that 20 years down the line, as I flip through the pages of this book once again, the emotions that I'll feel will be different from those of today. It's just one of those books that when you read between the lines at different stages in your life you get a different perspective. great and quite enjoyable!!!(side note: xtiffywiffyx can't spell "knack")
Rating: Summary: Compelling Review: I purchased a copy of Chiem's poetry book recently and I've almost finished the entire book. This book provides a in depth view of the society unlike any other book I've read. Proving several short stories and over one-hundred and forty poems, this book has captured my mind and I recommend this book to any poetry reader. I also bought a few copies for my nephews and I'm glad to know that Chiem's poetry book is available at school libraries.
