Review: This just did not compare to HeartMate. I really did not feel the love connection between to the two characters. The Fams were tedious. Maybe the next one will be better.

Review: When I read Heart Mate, I wondered if this was a "one-trick pony" by a new author. I am so thankful I was wrong. Heart Thief is sheer delight just like Heart Mate, proving that Robin D. Owens has definitely arrived as a new and exciting author in the fantasy/sci-fi world.On the world Ms. Owens has created, Celta, the people not only have wonderful and very specific magic powers called Flair, but they also (if they are lucky enough) have delightful companions called, Fams - which actually are talking/telepathic cats. To give anymore of the story away (the other reviewers have described it wonderfully)wouldn't be fair to Ms. Owens. Just do yourself a favor and buy this latest installment and wait IMPATIENTLY for the next book, Heart Duel. Ms. Owens, why does it take you a year? You should be working night and day!
