Rating: Summary: Good story but abrupt ending Review: Like Linnea, I enjoyed the story line. What I found disappointing was the ending. Good wins over evil of course, and right there, just like that, the book is done. Just that fast and just that quick. I think there should be another chapter or epilogue or even another paragraph instead of just leaving us where the author did. Monette Michaels also did an abrupt ending like this one in "Green Fire", which I found disappointing for the same reasons but again the story line was good. I doubt I'll read more of this author simply because I found the ending so abrupt and dissatisfying.
Rating: Summary: A Super Psychic and a Hunky Hero Review: Reluctant psychic Morgan Tarrant flees NYC after visions of a murder-- and an unintentional confrontation with the murderer-- plague her. She feels safe in a small Indiana town of French Creek. Then the murderer, a flamboyant 'preacher', shows up with his 'religious road show'. An innocent young girl is brutally killed. And Morgan, already mistrustful of the police from her NYC fiasco, has no one to turn to but Detective Gabriel Walsh. No one writes evil quite as well as Monette Michaels. Reading FATAL VISION, you fully identify with Morgan, a strong, likeable but definitely conflicted heroine. You fully adore Gabriel, the gorgeous detective. But the insidious evil of Darien Storm oozes off the pages and guaranteed, will keep you awake at night. I very much recommend FATAL VISION to both mystery and paranormal fans. But read it in the daytime.
