  Summary: Two separate stories
Review: There seemed to be two separate stories in here that were only vaguely related: The hunt for Gary Soneji and the hunt for Mr. Smith. It was also suprisingly predictable. The novel also lost credibility with me when the author jumped from Alex writing in the first person, to writing in the third person, to the other detective writing in the first person. I think this was one of Patterson's weaker novels.

  Summary: CAPTIVATING AND THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE
Review: This is the first James Patterson book I have read and if this novel is anything to go by, it won't be the last. The book gripped me from the start and I read it in 2 days because I simply could not put it down. To reader in San Jose; the OJ case had plenty of DNA evidence which jurors ignored and, as such, didn't convict him. Lighten up - this is a work of fiction, and a fabulous one at that.

  Summary: Another two day read!!
Review: I've read several of James Pattersons Alex Cross books and this one was another thriller I couldn't put down. I look forward to his next book. If there is ever another movie made from Mr. Pattersons books again, I hope they reconsider who they cast as Alex Cross. I like the actor in "Kiss the Girls" but he is too old to be the Alex Cross I always envision when I'm reading. "Cat & Mouse" is well worth the read!

Summary: Thrilling with twists on every page!
Review: This book kept me guessing the whole time. I was unsure of what would be on the next page and couldn't wait to get there! One of James Patterson's best so far! I can't wait to read the next Alex Cross book.

  Summary: Patterson has written better
Review: Cat and Mouse was good but not nearly as good as his other Alex Cross novels. I absolutly HATED the ending, although the rest of the book was alright

Summary: A brilliant story full of drama and suspense
Review: Being the first James Patterson book that I have read, Cat and Mouse captured the essence of what makes a story a bestseller. I was enthralled from beginning to end at the ongoing tensions involving Alex Cross and Gary sonejei, through the extensive use of descriptive language and blood-thirsty action throughtout the chapters. Sitting on the edge of your seat until the last pages, Cat and Mouse leaves you in suspence at what will happen next to the characters, leaving you pondering until the next of Patterson's books arrive.

Summary: The greatest suspense writer of all time!
Review: James Patterson is one of the most talented authors of our time. Each book surpasses his last! This one is a smashing hit, leaving you wishing the book would never end. The author has the unique ability to make you feel you are really there between the pages - a truly sensational work of art!!!

Summary: Only good if you don't know anything about police work
Review: This is a fine example of how publishers push authors to write books fast, and to forget facts, plot, consistency, reality. Asking us to believe that the perpetrator could commit the murders he did and never leave any forensic evidence or make any other slip is not at all realistic. DNA, ... Complete BS.

  Summary: AMAZING...SUSPENSEFUL TILL THE END!!!!
Review: I JUST FINISH READING CAT&MOUSE AND I HAVE TO SAY, "IT WAS SIMPLY AMAZING!!!. IT TOOK SUCH A HOLD ON ME THAT I BARELY PUT IT DOWN AND FINISHED IT IN 3 DAYS. SAMPSON AND ALEX ARE THE MOST INCREDIBLE HUMAND BEINGS THAT AN AUTHER CAN CREATE. EVERY BOOK I READ ABOUT ALEX CROSS AND HIS FRIENDS, THE MORE I FALL IN LOVE WITH THEM. IF EVERY A MOVIE COMES OUT THIS TIME I HOPE THEY REALLY CREATE THE TRUE SAMPSON AND ALEX. NOT LIKE KISS THE GIRLS I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH THE CHARACTERS/ACTORS THEY CHOSE. PLEASE MR. PATTERSON WHEN IS THE NEXT ALEX CROSS NOVEL COMING OUT, I CAN'T WAIT.

Summary: Another great book by James Patterson
Review: Cat & Mouse was a book I just couldn't put down. It kept you in suspense, and all though you knew who Gary Soneji is, you just never quite guess who "Mr. Smith" is. I have read all the Alex Cross novels and they just keep getting better and better. I am anxiously awaiting for his next book about Alex as I am sure it will be great also.
