  Summary: New and improved Grisham
Review: I am an avid reader of Grisham.s books and have enjoyed them all. This book ranks at the top by far. This is the most original story involving a lawyer fighting for his client that I have ever seen on TV or read. It was fast paced, insightful, and well thought out. A must read for anybody who reads period.

  Summary: Grisham does it again
Review: I enjoyed this novel, and found it to be done with the tradtional Grisham style. He ties you in so deeply to the plot on the first page, and keeps you tied in till the very end. In this particular novel I found it less to be a court room dram, but an adventure story. I enjoyed this novel a lot as much as the Street Lawyer. He is truly one of the best authors in his field. I highly recomend this novel if you are into adventure and thrill ride of your life until the end.

Summary: Great description of eccentric characters!
Review: I listened to the audiobook. The narrator & reader did an excellent job of presenting this book. At times, I actually wanted to keep driving in Washington, D.C. just to keep listening. I feel Grishamhas presented us with a different theme with this book..many authors continue to write along the same theme..he has started to change with each book. He also did this with Street Lawyer. In addition, he is exploring social and religious issues and presenting them in a very factual, appealing manner. For christian readers desiring a good secular read, this is it!!!

Summary: Good story line but predictable plot
Review: I am a Grisham fan and I was dissappointed with the predictable plot and the lack of depth in the characters described. A good basic story line, but I was expecting more.

Summary: I thought the book was excellent, but at times boring.
Review: The Testament is a great book to read if one can uncover the meaning behind the text. For the people who cant or do not want to, i would not reccommend it.

  Summary: Fantastic !! Grisham's best yet !!
Review: I have read all of John Grisham's books and this, by far, is his best. It was tight with believable characters. Venturing into Brazil was an interesting and invigorating trip. I felt like I was in the swamps too. As a Christian, I am happy that a successful author dosen't find it necessary to hide his own faith. Keep them coming, John

  Summary: One word: BORING
Review: I usually like Grisham. His contempt for the legal profession is amusing & there is some of that contempt here. This book starts off really good & quickly turns in to an adventure down a river. BORING. If I want a travelogue/study of other cultures thing, I will go find Michener

  Summary: Strange, Different, Though-Provoking, Good
Review: I found this book to be different - completely different - than any other Grisham books. Delightfully so. You enter into many different people's lives and inner-thoughts. I enjoyed the message of hope woven within the storyline. Loved it.

  Summary: Grisham's best yet
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found it hard to put down. I think it is his best novel yet. The development of the character Nate was well done. The underlying moral spiritual tone of this novel was welcome.
