Summary: Interesting with a lawyer who helps the weak in our soceity!
Review: A very good book I loved every minute of reading it

 Rating:
  Summary: Below Grisham Standard
Review: I was disappointed. Without a doubt, the worst of the several Grisham books I have read. Still though, Grisham sets a high standard. Overall its a 3 star book. But this book lacks very much in suspense.

 Rating:
  Summary: Grisham-Page-turner
Review: Grisham is a master at writing books that you cannot put down. Nothing really happens, but still, he keeps you reading and reading! This bookis not as good as f.i "The Firm" or "The Client" wich is my favourite

  Summary: Excelent book by Grisham!
Review: I liked "The Street Lawyer" very much because it touched me deeply inside as I tought about the street people and their enourmous troubles. As all books from John Grisham, this one was great. The story has a great beggining and the caracters are well chosen. Good job, John Grisham!

Summary: A story that is worthy of Grisham
Review: I liked the overall story, we sometimes forget about the homeless in our country and how the system works around those unfortunate people. Grisham tells us in great detail the plight of the homeless and uses the perspective of a lawyer to do it. Good job.

 Rating:
Summary: A novel that tells a story without moralising.
Review: I found The Street Lawyer an immensely readable novel. John Grisham has cleverly balanced a moral within a story that is difficult to put down. I particularly liked the fact that the author puts across his views on the homeless problem in America without sermonising. His viewpoint comes across without any maudlin sentimentalising about the plight of the homeless. His views are as relevant to the homeless situation in any affluent western country where governments seem unable to cope with a steadily increasing homeless population. A very good read.

Summary: A down to earth, attention grabber, great novel!
Review: This was the first of John Grisham's books I've read. I have since read a few others. This by far is the most down-to-earth adventure law novel I've read. Excellent!

 Rating:
  Summary: A real nail-grower!!!!
Review: Save your money - the weakest of all Grisham works to date. Hardly worth the trees cut down to print it on. Don't even bother reading it in paperback. Highly recommended for insomnia.

  Summary: Could Have Been Better
Review: Rich young lawyer, leaves big firm to serve the poor. Not much of a plot and definately not as good as The Partner or The Rainmaker. Not a bad book though, if you havn't read Grisham before then I suggest you select another of his books for your first (perhaps the two mentioned above) and save this one for one of your later Grisham novels.

 Rating:
Summary: Not as interesting as some of his other books.
Review: I think this book is slow getting started. It took a while to get into it. The other John Grisham books I have read held my interest but this one sort of drug on.
