Rating: Summary: ANOTHER CONNELLY THRILLER! Review: AFTER READING THE POET I HAD TO GRAB ANOTHER CONNELLY NOVEL AND THE REVIEWS I READ CONCERNING ANGEL'S FLIGHT INTERESTED ME. THE REVIEWERS DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE TWISTS AND TURNS OF THE PLOT AND I NOW CAN OFFICIALLY CALL MYSELF A CONNELLY FAN. MANY REVIEWERS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE CONCLUSION, BUT DON'T ALLOW THEIR CRITICISIM TO GET IN THE WAY OF YOU PURCHASING THIS BOOK. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.
Rating: Summary: Ends like a cheap tv movie. Review: The intrigue and actions of the primary characters throughout the book kept my interest and became a great, quick read. Disappointed with the ending. Seemed out of character with the overall tone of the story.
Rating: Summary: 1st Time Reader Very Impressed Review: I've never read a Michael Connely book before so I didn't know what to expect, but I have to say that I was very impressed with this very entertaining book. It had me guessing down to the very end,and it was filled with twists and turns you will not expect. I agree with one of the other reviewers who said the author should get rid of Eleanor (Bosch's wife) as she is the most depressing, miserable character in a work of fiction I've read this year. But, if you are looking for a very entertaining, police procedural mystery I would strongly recommend this book
Rating: Summary: Connelly does it again Review: I am an avid reader of this genre of books, and Michael Connelly has never disappointed me with any of his efforts that I've read (The Poet, Trunk Music, and now this) I am 30 chapters into this book and could barely put it down long enough to get on the internet and check my e-mail.
Rating: Summary: Another Great Hieronomous Read Review: Another good job!, Not his best, but by no means his worst book, well worth the money, especially at Amazon rates!
Rating: Summary: Finely Tuned Suspense Review: This is an intricate and well told suspense novel. Harry Bosch is one of my favorite characters and he does not disappoint in this story. Connelly has a way of baiting the reader with mysteries within mysteries which keeps the interest high and the pace rapid. An extremely enjoyable read.
Rating: Summary: Harry Bosch redeems Sheehan... Review: This was a great read to follow up BLOOD WORK by Michael Connelly. Mr Connelly slyly inputs Terry Caleb in ANGEL'S FLIGHT, but he's the author right? Right! This book gives you faith in the legal system that even if justice is blind, those that aren't blind will see justice done. In Chamoru, my native language, TI MA MAIGU SI JESUS. This was a wonderful book, GO GET YOUR COPY NOW! Ex Animo! mwb9
Rating: Summary: A good Harry Bosch novel. Review: I enjoyed reading this book because I like Bosch's personality. However, I did not feel as if the book's ending resolved any of the problems he encountered in the story. But as always, if you're a Bosch fan like myself then you will enjoy it as well.
Rating: Summary: Decent effort, a bit predictable Review: Bosch is at it again, and if you're a Harry fan, you'll like this effort by Connelly. Just the slightest bit predictable. Not bad, but he's had better. (Harry's wife may be the most boring character in fiction. Get rid of her for good!)
Rating: Summary: Not up to par Review: Michael Connelly has surrended to the New York editors who demand a book a year, no matter if what the writers ends up writing is trash they would never buy from a new author. This story is the weakest of his output. Does not measure up to The Last Coyote or Black Echo. Michael stand your ground! Don't turn out garbage!
