Rating: Summary: A race to the finish Review: I found the information on the iditarod race facinating. I never knew the perils and extreme hard work it took to run this race. Add a mystery and your set for great reading before a nice warm fire.
Rating: Summary: Mush On! I couldn't put it down! Review: I found this mystery to be enthralling. The combination of the race and murder is a winner all the way around. I couldn't put it down and I think I finnished it in record time. It left me running to get the next story. The insights to the race will make next year's running even more exciting to follow.
Rating: Summary: a Great Fun Read Review: I love this series of books. Looking forward to the next one
Rating: Summary: You'll think you're an Iditarod musher Review: I snatched it off the shelf the moment I saw "Iditarod." Sure enough, Sue Henry not only gives us a smashing murder mystery to solve, but the history of the Iditarod race itself. Her writing propels you into the story. You will freeze with the racers, feel their exhaustion, worry over the dogs, and oh, yes, wonder just who done it. Her character development makes for such believable people that one can think, "I know this guy/gal." Not at all surprising that she won the Macavity and Anthony awards with her first book. This is definitely a keeper.

Rating: Summary: A marvelous sense of place Review: Sue Henry does a superb job of bringing the surroundings to life, transporting the reader to the icy North. I found myself frequently referring to the map in the front of the book, marking progress along the trail and pinpointing particular events. I've since read several more of her books, and have found them all enjoyable.
