Summary: Do yourself a big favor...
Review: This book will be a genuine waste of time for a reader that is well educated, it is insulting to our intellegence that works of this nature are published. Simple gramatical errors are acceptable for a high school book report... not a piece of literature. The concept seemed interesting enough, to pick it up. I feel that it is my civic duty to inform you, the reader, that this is a read you can pass up.

Summary: Outstanding new book by Pineiro
Review: This is another excellent novel by R.J. Pineiro. I started reading it after work on a Friday and went straight through to 2:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. The characters are terrific, the plot evoques viceral fear, and the pacing is out of this world. The research is well done. You can tell that Pineiro went to great extremes to gather his data. The scenes on the computer stuff (I'm not a computer buff) were easy to understand and very interesting. There are Navy SEALs in this book, and, as a retired member of the armed forces, I have to admit that they are protrayed as realistic as I've ever seen. I've read most of Clancy's novels and some leave a lot to be desired on accuracy and pace, oftentimes the techno stuff gets in the way of the action. Pineiro avoids those mistakes while still showing you what is like to be a member of a SEAL team. Excellent, excellent, excellent.

Summary: If I stop reading to write this review, it must be good.
Review: This is my first Pinero book and I like it very much. The technology part seems a bit child's play but the book is a really page-turner. The military action is very realistic and I kept seeing it in my dreams!

If you can get over the technical part then this should satisfy most of the readers.

Highly recommended!

Summary: Intriguing, exciting, but also quite terrifying
Review: This is my third Pineiro novel (01-01-00 and Breakthrough were my first two). In this story, the author creates a scenario that guarantees to keep you at the edge of your seat. It's got computer viruses, chips going bad from sabotage, terrific FBI characters, a crack Navy SEAL team, and even a responsible and level-headed president. I've noticed a few comments from readers complaining about typos. I found four in the entire book, and while they should have gotten caught by the editors, they certainly didn't detract me from enjoying such terrific story. I'm sure the author and the publisher will get them fixed on the paperback. By the way, the last Grisham and Clancy that I read had far more errors but I didn't see anyone complaining, so why pick on this author? Pineiro deserves a lot of credit for writing with a powerful and authoritative hand and not pulling any punches, painting the kind of terrific scenarios and characters that will leave readers screaming for more.
