Review: This is the kind of thriller smart readers long for.
On one level it is the story of two boyhood friends who take very different paths. Forty years after they become "blood brothers" Luke must return to his tiny hometown in Georgia to defend T.C. Simmons, a former Ku Klux Klan member accused of murder. The legal maneuverings and courtroom scenes are electrifying, with incredible twists and turns. There are deeper themes in this novel, of truth, justice, and so forth... but if all you want is a fast-paced thriller to read, it works well on both levels. Very very satisfying.

Review: You will LOVE Sol Wachtler and David Gould. This is an intense and racy book which kept me guessing til the very end. I LOVE the way it's written and the relationship between the two lead characters is fascinating. If you like legal thrillers, or thrillers of any kind at all....this book is a MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!! 5 thumbs up!
