Summary: Only a Jill Churchill class reunion could be so much fun!!
Review: Bribed into helping her neighbor, Shelley, at her class reunion, Jane Jeffry once again comes into the midst of a murder...and a wonderful cast of characters/suspects.
Only Jill Churchill could put together a package as intrigueing as this one, or as fun. When you begin reading this one, be prepared to go up against one of the best whodunnits in the business...and all of the clues are there!! And, be prepared to break out laughing at the antics of Jane, Shelley and Jane's three kids as Jane, Shelley and the ever present Mel Van Dyne solve a case of murder that began years before!
This is one of the best, and quickest reads you will have this year. Only one of Jill Churchill's other books could possibly top this one!!

Summary: Curl up with this delightful book and enjoy to the end!
Review: Class reunions: the time when the real characters of classmates come out! Thought the shy girl in your class room would remain so? Oh, no! Thought the really pretty one with no brains would be as stunning as always? NOT! Thought the fantastic personality would never do anything like commit murder? GUESS AGAIN!!!! Sit down with this delightful book, Ramsey Lewis turned down low, and a good cup of Lapsang Souchong. You WILL enjoy!!

Summary: Delightful romp with interesting characters at class reunion
Review: Jane Jeffrey, intrepid housewife and part-time murder investigator, comes face to face with her friend Shelley's old high school friends. All of these characters were members of the Ewe Lambs, an exclusive club during their school days. When the most disliked member is murdered, Jane and Shelley suspect one, then another, of the classmates. Each character is delightfully sketched out and their interactions are interesting and sometimes unpredictable. This is light and enjoyable reading.

Summary: Murder at the Reunion
Review: Jane Jeffry is a suburban mother who is asked by her friend Shelly to help out at a gathering of her old high school club called the Ewe Lambs. Jane can't help hearing the Lambs gossip about the good old days and, as they are reminiscing, she picks up dirt on old crushes, lies and the mysterious death of a high school heartthrob on Prom Night. Then one of the Ewe Lambs is found murdered and Jane is determined to find out why and, wouldn't you know it, I was just as involved in the mystery as Jane was as I eagerly turned page after page to see what happened next.

Summary: Jill Churchill's Jane Jeffry Is A "Class" Act
Review: The Class Menagerie is a brilliant tale of blackmail, deception, and murder. In this fourth installment of Jill Churchill's Jane Jeffry series, Jane doesn't know what she's getting herself into when she agrees to help her friend Shelley host some old friends for Shelley's high school class reunion. Everyone seems to have changed a lot since high school, and in the midst of all the catching up, Jane discovers the corpse of one of the former classmates. Not only that, but someone is playing some mean-spirited pranks on the guests. Who's behind it all? Jane and Shelley take it upon themselves to find out -- before someone else gets hurt.

This book draws you in and keeps you coming back for more with likable characters, an intricate plot line that keeps you guessing, a subtle romantic subplot, and the entertaining shenanigans of Jane, Shelley, and company.

The Class Menagerie is the fourth Jill Churchill mystery I have read in the last few weeks, and it is yet another winner for Ms. Churchill and the wonderful Jane Jeffry. Now I'm longing to catch up and read the rest of the series! I highly recommend this book and the others in the Jane Jeffry series.
