Rating: Summary: Unconventional true crime story yields fresh timely drama. Review: This book was simply told and very readable. Broken into several chronological sections, it effortlessly reveals the 338 page story of the death of a lonely troubled surgeon -- and the life of the spider-woman chracter convicted of the planful killing in comfortably suburban Ohio. His family history places him at risk of his fate; her family history is described as unable to affect her grandiose manipulation and deceipt. Jones leaves little sympathy for the murderess, while her pretty photo in the too-short photo insert leaves the reader fascinated by her kind of evil. It is unfortunate that the Black Widow's perspective is not laid out in greater detail; her appeal is still pending. Highly recommended.
