Review: This book was a thoroughly enjoyable read! Sherlock Holmes and the ever faithful Dr. Watson have returned in fine style. The reader is immersed from the beginning with an assassination attempt on the life of Holmes through the twists and turns in the plots and subplots, including the theft of a world famous diamond, to the gratifying conclusion. The author obviously spent considerable time doing painstaking research for historical facts, language and location. It would be gratifying to see more adventures of the Great Detective from this writer who has captured the essence of Holmes and Watson so well!
