Summary: book of the year
Review: For the real people who are tired of reading the same comedic story lines, this book is for you. I could not put the book down. The characters jump off the page and by the end of the book you feel their pains and triumphs. A must read

Summary: oh there is a way out!
Review: I purchaes this book on the strength of reading and meeting Darren Coleman on his first time out. But, let me tell you. I have read a many books. But his make believe nonsense, with no realistic pages. Was a mess. I couldn't even finish reading the book. Money and Dee are from my neighborhood. And both of them are on a slab on the Grounds of DC General Hospital.
They died dreaming just like you. However your imagination is greater. You never lived in the ghetto, and the person who told you about it lied.
this is not the game. IN NOBODY'S 1405. The only thing I got was a winning lottery # 1405. I boxed it 1504.
Trashed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I won't come again.

Review: THIS BOOK WAS O.K. I GIVE IT A 4 STAR BECAUSE I LIKE THE END OF THE BOOK . I WOULDNT SAY RUN OUT A GET IT. THE AUTHOR MADE YOU READ THE BOOK ALL THE WAY AND THEN GIVE YOU THE GOOD THING AT THE END NOTHING IN MIDDLE. BUT IT WAS OK IF YOU LKIE A LOT OF STREET BOOKS.

Summary: What book were you reading?
Review: This book was with out a doubt right up there with the likes of "True to the game" and "Gangsta" I've been reading AAF for 20 years and I know a book is good if I finish it in two days meaning I couldn't put it down Zachary I'm waiting on the next one you hear me and just a note for the previous reviewer maybe you reviewed the wrong book check again

Summary: Reality with a dash of idealism
Review: This was a completely enthralling book to read. i could not put it down. Maybe because I could relate to it on so many levels. For anyone who reads this book they will no doubt find through one of the characters something that they associate with. If by chance there is nothing that the reader personally relates to they either know someone like one of the characters or they must become acquainted with people like these characters. This book with deliver a large dose of reality, but also that ever so faint glimmer of hope. There is "no Way Out" of reading this book from cover to cover.

Summary: Good for a first time writer
Review: Zachary Tate has quite an imagination. I loved the way he told two parallel stories for most of the book - Money & Dee and Ashley & X-Man, then later on the story lines crossed. I didn't grow up in the "hood" so I can't attest to the authenticity of the description of it represented in the book, but there was enough to keep me entertained. The book read like a good old time Mob-shoot-em-up movie with a realistic twist of what drug addiction can do to a person. Except for a few grammatical errors here and there, it was a good read.
