Summary: Highly Recommended
Review: Late night music and dancing, streets packed with tourists, the bizarre crossing of Southern etiquette, Voodoo practice, and jazz music, the sultry weather - chapter by chapter, the city of New Orleans during Jazz Fest sets the mood in Murder, She Wrote: Murder in a Minor Key. This book is a sweet note in the series, full of the usual twists and devices that both inform the plot and educate the reader (who has ever heard of a "cylinder" recording?). I personally can't wait to get myself to New Orleans for a chicory coffee, a plate of beignets, and a signed copy of this book. Bravo, Fletcher and Bain.

Summary: Travel to New Orleans with America's favorite sleuth
Review: Most of the book has twists and turns that the reader will find surprising. But some of the chapters are far-fetched. At least, the last couple of chapters. The plot becomes irrelevent, as do the characters. Although I enjoyed the book, the writing gets sloppy. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to "Provence--To Die For," which hits bookstores in April 2002. I am a Murder, She Wrote "fan," but the better mysteries are in the past. Maybe the next murder mystery will have more substance than the last five books.

Summary: Gotta read this one!!!
Review: This is definitely one of my favorites in the MSW book series. Full of suspense, it had me trying to figure out "whodunnit" until the very end!!! Highly recommended!

Summary: Right up there with "A Palete for Murder".
Review: This is one great book. It ranks up there with "a palette for murder. The characters are three dimensional and exciting. The descriptions of New Orleans are rich and vivid. You will learn things, like what wax records are. A great book for a loyal fan or a beginer of this series.
