Rating: Summary: Edge of your seat, but a bit drawn out Review: Although I enjoyed the book and reccomend it, I found it very wordy at times. It seemed like Frase was trying to hard to be discrptive when it was not neceassary. I think Frase should set out a contract and make a movie out of this story; it would be exciting.
Rating: Summary: It kept my attention Review: I started reading "The Last Goodbye" and couldn't stop. This is definitely the best book I've read in a long time. H. Michael Frase has become one of my favorite authors. I recommend this book to everyone. " The Last Goodbye" is the kind of books that movies are made from.
Rating: Summary: Tension-filled, truly edge of your seat reading! Review: Michael Frase has a unique talent for developing gut-wrenching characters. A reader can either love them or hate them, but you definitely can't ignore them. They literally grab ahold and pull you into the situations of their lives! How stupid can the character actually be, how gullible, how smart, how plain old lucky by simply stumbling along on their own? You can't put the book down till you know! In The Last Goodbye, as in Michael's other novel, Fatal Gift, I found myself tensed up waiting to see just what was going to happen to these people next. I can honestly say The Last Goodbye kept me on the edge of my seat. As a matter of fact, I hated to finish both of Michael's novels. That's my standard of judging a book, whether I'm so thankful it's over, or if I am sorry to finish reading it. Michael Frase passes "my standard" with xxxxxtra high flying colors!!!
Rating: Summary: It kept my attention Review: This author sure does have a wild imagination, although I am sure there are strange things going on all the time in law enforcement and the corporate world. How could Josh get in all the trouble he does and just when you think that he's done for, he rises to the cause and goes on another escapade in his search for the truth is beyond me. It was a great story and it held my attention to the very end. I am usually pretty good about figuring out "who done it" by the first hundred pages but I could not do that with this novel. I even snuck a couple of peeks at the end to no avail. I recommend not only this book but his first novel "Fatal Gift" and I'm anxiously awaiting his next novel!
