Summary: Kathleen Keating is a master storyteller
Review: "Noise of the Mourning" is an expertly crafted, spellbinding story of adventure and intrigue with just a touch of romance writing thrown in for good measure. The story Kathleen Keating has told is, at times, perhaps a bit improbable, but in this day of government scandals and cover-ups, who can say that it never really happened. Perhaps it has happened many times over, perhaps where it is set or in other places, perhaps when it is set or in other times.

Kathleen Keating's characters come alive as she deftly weaves just enough romance and family life into her story of scandal, daring, and remarkable courage. The settings are all too familiar to Americans who followed the news of the post-Vietnam era. The events are cast in such a way that it becomes difficult to put the book down.

Whether the story is real or not, Kathleen Keating has done her homework well in preparing this novel. Alistair MacLean and Tom Clancy could not have done a better job. On a scale of 1 to 10, "Noise of the Mourning" deserves at least a 12, perhaps a 20. This writer can hardly wait for the sequel to reach print.

Summary: Great Action and Characters!
Review: Kathleen might be known more for her non-fiction work we've all heard about on the Art Bell show but this book is a great read. The character development and plot are second to none!

I hope someone is smart enough to turn it into a movie!

Summary: This book was an incredible read, it left my spine tingling!
Review: Noise of the Mourning was an excellent book. The plot twists and turns but never leaves it's central axis. This is the one book that I have read that has retained it's continuity throughout the entire story.

I rate this book a ten, but if I could, I would have rated it a fifteen. From start to finish, it will leave you laughing, crying and maybe even both at the same time. Kathleen Keating has that rare story telling ability that leaves you feeling as if you were actually in her story, a true player on a magnificent stage.

If you like an exciting spine tingler, a great tear jerker or an all around good novel, pick up Noise of the Mourning today!!
