Summary: Easy and fun read
Review: I grabbed this book from a friend, not really expecting to like it, but looking for something to read on a plane trip. And I have to admit it was an enjoyable and quaint middle class story. An old style mystery with a good heart. The writing is done in the vernacular of its New Orleans cast and it makes for a easy read. An it's exactly that an easy read, a big mac, it's not a book that you're going to think back on one day. So, if you're looking for a good book for the plane or the beach, knock yourself out. If you want something alittle meatier, move on.
