Review: This is by far my favorite book by Margaret Millar, the Master of mystery writing. In The Fiend, a mystery with a twist, Millar treads a subject matter never discussed lightly and probably never handled so well by another mystery author -- pedophilia. Be brave! Despite your fear and revulsion you'll be rewarded for your courage.
