Summary: It's One of Those You Can't Put Down....
Review: ..and I didn't, until I was through!
Ms. Garrison grabs your interest from the first sentence, and leaves you wishing the story never ends. Excellent descriptions of both police life/detective work and the Seattle scenery. I loved the "other-worldy" aspect of it, as well...something you don't find in "straight-from-the-hip" detective novels.
Rumor has it that a sequel trio is in the works, and I, for one, simply cannot wait! I'm sure it will be as beautifully written and as thought-provoking as the first three.

Summary: Leslie Ann Garrison Injects Cop Experience and More into Mys
Review: Having read all the mainstream mystery authors out there, Leslie Ann Garrison's book "Tall Tales Trilogy" ranks up there with the best. The backdrop of Seattle is a comfortable place to meet Tall and her friends. She did not look for the new career she is in now. It found her! The plot is woven around everyday people who are counted among Tall's co-workers with a helper who can visit her mind when she least expects it. This will be one of those special books which, while reading, you must tell yourself to slow down. The end comes far too soon and finds you yearning for yet another tale. Escape into Tall's tales now. You won't regret it!

Summary: Fresh Approach to Mystery
Review: I was swept away into the tale as Leslie Ann Garrison weaved her magic. She uses a fresh approach to the mystery novel - not only from a former police woman's perspective but also from the eyes of a police psychic. She connects a spiritual and metaphysical element with the workings of the mind of a criminal. There's lots in the trilogy of stories to stimulate and entertain.

Summary: I Couldn't Put It Down
Review: Warning, do not start this book if you have things planned for the near future. After the first few pages, I couldn't put the book down. The story moved fast, the characters were great, and the action made me hold my breath. I read this book until the early morning! Stephanie (also call Tall), the main character, is a great mix of confident cop and just a normal woman. She has a hard time accepting her psychic ability but deals with it. She and the detective, Brad, had me rooting for them to get together. The bad guys are scary. I hope Ms. Garrison writes more stories starring the same characters. I made myself slow down because I knew the book would end too soon and I would miss the people in it. I recommend this book to any reader, not just mystery.
