Rating: Summary: decent thriller Review: Better than most of Lustbaders thrillers, this one takes the hollywood experience and makes it interesting. The characters all have extensively fleshed out histories, and their motivations are all different. Instead of cardboard cutouts, the people and the story are gripping. The erotica interludes are also attention grabbing. When I picked this up, I was surprised that the story was so well written. With lustbader, I tend to like his japanese themed stories better, but this one isn't bad at all

Rating: Summary: Worst book ever.... Review: Clumbsy writting coupled with blantant racism doesn't make for an enjoyable read. If you are a black or white in an interacial relationship you will most likly be offended by this book. Apperently in the world of Eric van lustbader, Having [adult relations] with a black men means that you are some kind of rebel, also they should be used for [adult relations] as they are nothing more than caricatures with no real compacity for emotion or deep thought. I don't think this author has ever been around most black or hispanic people. I finished this book only becuase i started it. I would say burn this book ... but then you'd have to buy it. So save your money and run very far from this book. I wish i could give in negative stars.
Rating: Summary: Solid Food Review: This is one of Lustbaders better works. Although always great at action scenes, and very good with the more esoteric aspects of human culture, his works have a similarity about them that is sometimes reassuring, sometimes frustrating. This one is different from his other works, and memorable for that, but also different from any other hollywood novel you're likely to come across. The heroine is a true hero in the classic sense of the word, not just a damsel in distress.
