Rating: Summary: "Second Generation": Great Story & Writing Style Review: On the line of a John Irving novel, "Second Generation" by Susan Scutti dives deep into characters you want to know better & better with each chapter, while simulateously pulls you into the enticing storyline, being a real page-turner as the plot thickens into a truly modern idea of what "second generation" means in today's bio-thick world. I highly recommend this novel for the beach, weekend read, or for anyone who enjoys truly great writing skill matched with story suspense. Heady and light, deep and playful, this book hits all the right buttons.

Rating: Summary: Well worth reading Review: Susan Scutti's superbly written novel Second Generation relates the story of two women in their early twenties who find themselves in a state of crisis. Meredith Lamm is undeniably attracted to the wrong men, while Diana Ferro rents her womb as a surrogate mother for the money that she hopes will fund her dream. Both Meredith and Diana have issues haunting them and which clamoring for resolution before either of them can come to understand or take full control of their lives. Simply put, Second Generation is this captivating novel and well worth reading.
