Review: "On Deadline" is a fun, fast read that will hit home with high-tech industry insiders as well as mystery buffs. Roland Cutter is a technical everyman with a deadpan style and an irresistable urge to look for trouble. The author claims this is 100% fiction, but anyone who has ever had anything to do with the industry will find the characters and their world startlingly real. If you work or worked :( for a high-flying high-tech company in the 90s, you might think you recognize someone. I just hope it isn't yourself!
