Review: The outbreak of a deadly new bacteria in a hotel could be very likely happen suppose to a virus from outer space infecting a whole town. The story takes place at a convention for the Guardians, who are veterans. There is a rumor that the Guardians are going to become a political party and someone is out to sabotage their future.

The main characters were actual people you could easily envision. The young doctor trying to save the world, the reporter looking for the big story for her career, the astronaut who is having problems being back on earth and the retired colonel still living the Marine way.

I as I read the book I thought I knew who had planted the deadly bacteria, but as I finished the book I was wrong. There were many twists at the end which made for very exciting reading.
