Summary: Fabulous adrenaline rush of a thriller!
Review: "Ready the eight. Materials and supplies set for assembly at all destinations. Final targets: New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Paris, Rome, Tokyo, Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv. Simultaneous detonation..." This alarming message is unexpectedly received and decoded by Nadine Kanner, a former U.S. intelligence officer engaged in routine research at a think tank in the Middle East. But where? And when? In pursuit of clues, events take an unexpected turn when Nadine's son is kidnapped by terrorists. Who can she trust to help her? The U.S. general? The Arab-American professor? Her Israeli agent lover with the hidden agenda?

This is a fast-paced, adventure-thriller that will have your pulse racing and your heart pounding. It had me staying up until one in the morning reading page after exciting page. And I understand that this prescient book was written well before the events of 9/11...a wonderful read! Give yourself a treat and buy this book today!

Summary: Captivating!
Review: From the very first pages, I was hooked on this book. The characters are so believable, the premise is incredibly timely and the intriguing plot is spellbinding. I highly recommend this book for those looking for a suspenseful ( and plausible) read and who want to come away with a better understanding of the challenges and issues that the people in the Middle East ( and we in the U.S., too) must endure. Pick up this book - you will not be sorry....

Summary: Can't put this one down
Review: I didn't want it to end! This spellbinding thriller will keep you on edge. Just the right mixture of intrigue, romance and danger to captivate the reader. Jae Gordon's extensive knowledge of the Middle East conflict coupled with her real life experiences bring this story alive. The heroine is a woman for everyone to admire. A wonderful book for an afternoon at the beach or curling up on the couch.

Summary: Ready for Read the Eight!
Review: I finished this book in one sitting. The action paced novel read like a fast paced Hollywood action movie. If ever a book was written for the big screen; this one is it. I felt like I was in each location, whether it be Paris, Tokyo, or the hills of Jerusalem. Jae Gordon writes the book like she's really experienced these places. I often laugh at writers who portray Israel as some dusty Middle Eastern country. Jae Gordon captured the unique beauty of the land and the spirit of her people. Each character on the screen reminded me of real life personalities that I have met over the years. Well done. She delivers the same treatment for my hometown of Los Angeles. The book was written before 9/11 which makes it all the remarkable. This proves that author Jae Gordon is a good observer of the world around us. The book serves as a dire warning to any who would let the terror network get an upper hand against us.

Summary: Everything I look for in a book
Review: I think this novel has got it all. It's thrilling and suspenseful, the characters are well developed and the story is absolutely riveting. Hard to put down - a great read. The only problem is that the books ends, and I can't find anything else to read by this author.

Summary: Timely action thriller!
Review: Jae Gordon has written a fast paced action thriller that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat - right up to the stunning climax. Full of twists and turns, the story unfolds like a complex origami sculpture! It kept me guessing the whole time...and, of course, I was wrong! I found the scenes to be rich and vibrant; and filled with personal observations that added depth and realism to the story. I also liked that the chapters were fast paced and compelling, I could not put the book down! I truly enjoyed the experience and I highly recommend it. I can hardly wait for the next book!
