Summary: Navy SEALs is an Must Read
Review: After reading a large selection of books on mystery and supense, I have to give this a good rating. This is one right up there with Tom Clancy's OP-Center books. If you like military action, get this book.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Navy Seals: Insurrection Red
Review: Although the action in this book is good, everything else about it was lousy. From the ludicrous story line to the obvious lack of research about military acronyms. Having served in the Air Force for 10 years and worked with the Special Forces for the last two I couldn't believe anyone could come up with what I was reading. I almost quit reading this book 3 or 4 times, but I finished it to give a review of the whole book. From the first instance of an obvious lack of research in chapter 2 until I finally finished the book I had no respect for this author's work. I hope he doesn't do any more military works until he's done some serious research.

Summary: Insurrection by M Murray- a Great Read
Review: How many times do we see a movie with so many special effects that the story is lost and we walk away saying "if they had only done this". Mike Murray does that, the characters are smarter and don't just respond to what happens, that's why they are in the elite forces to begin with. Sometimes I wonder if "Rogue" warriors have a brain, not the case in "RED", they come accross as real people with just different views. The book is a page turner wether it's an action scene or character study. GOOD BOOK.

Summary: Once Again Mike Murray is AWESOME
Review: I am so hooked on these books it's crazy. I have now read the series twice and am waiting for the next book to come out. This series would make a GREAT movie.

Anyone who loves action packed military books with tons of surprises will love this series. I highly highly recommend these books to everyone who loves being entertained intelligently!

Summary: Seal of Approval
Review: I thought this was a delightful read. Great for a few hours of escapism and adventure. I particularly liked the action and all the detail that went ]into the Navy SEAL training and missions. It made you feel like you were swimming alongside them.

Summary: navy seals insurrection red
Review: I was very disappointed with this book...I believe that the lay out of it was set up good but the events of what was going on was really bad. I was looking for something along the lines of like seal team seven books. But this one was a big waste of time.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not as good as other SEAL stories...
Review: I've been a longtime reader of books on the SEAL Teams, both fiction and fact. While this book did have some excellent moments and the characters stayed true to themselves, I can only really give it an average grade. The writing didn't truly grab me, and the characters, at times, seemed more like cardboard cutout supermen. At times, they didn't have any depth, and seemed interchangeable with one another.
Personally, I would suggest Marcinko's Rogue Warrior and Keith Douglass' Seal Team Seven over this series. Marcinko's stories may be somewhat unbelievable and a bit egotistical, but they're fun. ST7's characters have a bit more depth to them, and do not come across as nigh invulnerable.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A good Navy SEAL book!
Review: If you like the Rogue Warrior series then this is the series for you. It is packed full of action and adventure. A great read!
