Summary: Did our government create AIDS?
Review: Did our government cause the single worst health crisis of this past century? In a plot that reads like it was made for the big screen, the wicked machination of an anti-communist government agency places that agency outside the bounds of human decency as it develops the ultimate cold war biological weapon. When the agency moves to test the virus, the scientist in charge resigns in protest, and is ultimately sanctioned, but not before he leaves behind a letter detailing the scope of his work. Two decades later, Russell Wakefield, the owner of a toxic waste clean-up company finds the missing letter. His knowledge puts a price on his head and his life turns into a desperate flight to elude his own government. The heart-pounding conclusion leaves the reader wishing for more.
