Rating: Summary: Michael Crichton style Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I almost never read fiction but because it was recommended to me I read it and I'm glad I did. I was enthralled from beginning to end. If I had to make comparisons on the writing syle, Michael Crichton and Nelson Demille come to mind. There are some very clever ideas and twists in the story. What I really enjoyed was the good mix of charachters and technology. Lots of fiction seems to be technology driven but this one is not. There is a nice balance of charachter interaction, technology and storytelling that make the whole book a pleasure to read. I am looking forward to anything this author writes in the future. Get it you will enjoy it.

Rating: Summary: WOW! Review: Jicho will have you hooked from page one! It is innovative and exciting from the beginning. Jicho takes the reader on an adventure from 1820 South Africa quickly to present day California in a captivating adventure in which the reader is totally engrossed. Is this fiction...........nonfiction.......or a combination of both? Jicho's protagonists, Drs. Michelle Bouchard and Brace Bellegrine, are a force to be reckoned with intellectually and passionately. The race is on.....will Jicho be caught.....will Dr. Bouchard's son's cure for his neurological disease be discovered.......how many must die before we find out? Even as this demon slithered its way into my dreams I couldn't put this book down!

Rating: Summary: Jicho by Robert McCallum Review: Jicho will keep you wanting more from this new and refreshing author, Robert McCallum. The book starts in Africa, which has always been dark and mysterious, right from the beginning the reader is carried away to sights and events that only your own imagination can conjure. McCallum, will masterfully lead you through a very intricate story of love, deceit, revenge and murder. The characters and events are perfectly described by McCallum giving the reader a sense knowing each person and place. It is also very obvious that the author is very creative by delivering a variety of new technologies and biotechnology's to the story line. All of this adds up to make the story very exciting, emotionally packed and intriguing. I most highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to read a story full of suspense and drama.
Rating: Summary: Jicho... Review: The Swahili word for "eye". You will not be able to put this book down until you read why! This power packed book is a non-stop thriller! It takes you from Early Africa all the way to sunny Southern California! This is a must have for EVERY bookshelf! "Slowly the grass parted. Her eyes widened. A long, flat reptilian head rose up out of the grass at her feet. She gasped; her hand flew to her mouth as if to protest the sound. Then, rising higher, the thick, gray body swayed back and forth; and the head, still turned away from her, swiveled around slowly like a hand puppet on a long arm...."
