Summary: If you like Made For TV movies...
Review: After reading the synopsis, I was disappointed to learn that this book failed to live up to its potential. The author chose a great deal of topics to write about, but because he never went into any of them in great detail, you kind of got the feeling you were reading a Made For TV movie. The only detail he seemed to delve into was the sex scenes between the two main characters which served no useful purpose to the novel other than to allow the author to write about some adult fantasy of his.

Summary: The best book I have ever read!
Review: Although the author claims, that most of the book is fictional, it changed my life. Now I see the world in a new way. I bought a lot of copies to give them to my friends, because I think, everyone should read this book. But it's not only the content, it's also a fascinating, thrilling story. I could not put it down!

Summary: I dare you to put this one down!
Review: First of all, this is a great inside look at the publishing business. There are a lot of big names mentioned that any reader will recognize both from the book world and motion picture world. The Doomsday Report starts in today's time and goes forward, envisioning a world that is affected by a book which accurately predicts the end of humanity through global warming in the next forty years. There is a disturbing scene in which 16 young men and women seize a restaurant and terrorize 26 customers along with over 20 employees in a night of violence filled with unspeakable acts. The horror of the night is captured on video by one of the gang members is shown on television to the point of saturation.

A new craze on the highways replaces road rage - it is called Bomping. Bomping is when you drive down the wrong side of the road at speeds in excess of over 100 miles per hour and see if you can cross over to the far left lane and get back to the right hand lane, catchin! g the next exit. If successful you score 3 points. If not, well the doomsday clock is ticking anyway. If you happen to have a video camera mounted on your dash you can leave a legacy behind you on the news. Of course the book, known as The Belaqua Report is disputed and suspicion starts to grow as to what the motives really are behind the book.

Summary: Brynner's heroine, Terry, is a Holly Golightly for the 90's.
Review: Initially this seemed like a great book about the demise of the ecosystem on Earth. I found myself to see less and less about the outcome of the book as I continued reading it though! The other included a good selection in his bibliography for future reference and included some good web pages! I would wait for paperback on this one!

Summary: This book has had a profound affect on my understanding of t
Review: Like Franco, the information compiled from the research for this book affected me profoundly. The fragility of our planet as portrayed here is real. Once started I was compelled to finish. This book should be compulsory reading for all educators! I will be looking for other titles by Rock Brynner.

Review: Rock Brynner has captured the essence of the catastrophe awaiting us all in the very near future, and he backs it up with solid scientific data. The book is very entertaining and should serve as a wake-up call for us all.
