Summary: Got Me!
Review: A very good friend of mine sent me this book, even though I told him I wasn't much of a reader. Quite often I buy a book and don't read it or don't even start it. My closet at home has several books I couldn't finish. But since Loyalty et al was from a friend, I took the book on my next four day trip to Hong Kong. When I arrived there I was beat so I immediately went to bed and decided to read a few pages before I fell asleep. I put it down two hours later and finished the whole book before I got home. This was a record for me. I liked it so much I bought 30 books and sent them to my friends for Christmas. Buy it, Read it, then thank me for telling you.

Summary: Thought Provoking
Review: I met Brown Bear at a book signing at Fairchild Air Force Base, Spokane, WA. A super guy who can swap sea stories with the best of them. I pictured him as I read "Alpha" and his second book, "Bravo." Some parts are difficult to swallow but he weaves a pretty nice tale (I saw an interesting thing or two during twenty-six years on nuclear submarines) and is light years ahead of Clancy when it comes to honest-to-God military information. It's hard to believe a real life hero like Dick Williams exists until you spend some talking to Captain Schaffert. I hope he doesn't keep us waiting long for "Charlie."

Summary: Brown Bear - A Must Read...
Review: Loyalty, Betrayal and other Contact Sports(Alpha) by Erzse Publications. Author Brown Bear - Captain Richard SchaffertUSN Rt.DFC(**)

I have just finished reading the above book and want to give it a five star recommendation. The book is a fast moving tale of adventure in the Orient with a sizzling aviation overtone. It is written by a distinguished and highly decorated USN fighter pilot who clearly knows his aircraft stuff and his way around the Orient.

Great yarn which I thoroughly recommend - and a Must Buy.
