Review: Detective Chief Superintendent George Masters and his colleague Detective Chief Inspector Bill Green are on holiday when they are called to investigate a murder at a seaside resort not far away. It appears that the son of an Essex police colleague has been found dead in his boat. Masters and Green begin by investigating other members of the yacht club and find a good deal of adulterous behaviour simmering beneath the surface. Then Masters' hunches begin to turn into certainties which enable him to put his finger on the murderer.
