Review: This is a book which came my way soon after I visited the Death Railway in Thailand....the poignant visits I made to the cemetery and to the Bridge on the River Kwai made it compulsory reading for me....it is pleasing to recommend it to others, as it tells a fascinating story in an easy-to-read style...congratulations to Bill McDonald, its author; I look forward to reading any other books he has written
