Summary: Somewhat Disappointing
Review: I have read most of Froede's books. This one character-driven, which I liked, but the story-line is a bit weak. The best I can say is that SURGE OF POWER is easy to read. A good book for the beach or a multi-stop plane ride. There is hope that his next novel will be up to his loyal followers' expectations.
