Review: This author did not disappoint me in his second novel. Your attention is held from beginning to surprising end. Once again his knowledge of the subject matter is extensive and his ability to pull you into the scene and the action is excellent. Yoshiwara gave me new insight into pre WWII Japan, the caste system, it's people and their way of life. I look forward to more.
