Review: Terrell Newman is not as central in this story as he is in THE DELIVERER and SATAN'S DAUGHTER, but he makes way for an epic cast of characters that take us from the 1930s to the present day. The story is about a Texan oil dynasty that is haunted by a string of bizarre tragedies. Newman is called in when two members of this dynasty (a senator and his father) are killed by a bomb planted in their private jet. The narrative then switches between past and present, going back to how it all started with a bootlegger arriving in Texas and falling in love with the daughter of a cattle rancher. The love story is a classic one and comes wrapped up in all kinds of conundrums (as well as some riveting sex scenes)
