Rating: Summary: Know Not What They Do... Tim McCleaf's First Book a Home Run Review: Author Tim McCleaf's first book contains two stories that are impossible to put down. The first `Let Me Die' is a mystery with plenty of twists and turns that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat until the very end. Do not try to read this story unless you are ready to stay awake until you finish. Zack Mitchell and Ronald Blaine first meeting ends in the death of Zack. Joel Thomas as Zack's best friend is lead on a cross-country trip to try and understand how and why his best friend has been murdered in the seamy side of Las Vegas. The trail leads us through Las Vegas and the surrounding area as well as through the hometowns of Zack and Joel, Southern Maryland. Zack was working on a highly classified project for his company based near the Naval Air Station Patuxent River. His untimely death and Joel's quest to find the truth is marvelously weaved into a superb story. In the second story `For They Know Not What They Do" Tim McCleaf works more magic with his second suspenseful page-turner story. We travel to a simpler yet more complex time of the early 1980s where we meet Bill Baxter. Why did Bill leave the majority of his inheritance to Margaret Chase? Why is Sam Baxter, Bill's brother working so hard to deny Margaret her inheritance? What really happened in Bill's High School so many years ago? Work through the many characters we meet in this novel and see if you can figure our how all these questions fit together. Two very exciting stories in one book. Tim McCleaf's first book shows a writer with the ability to keep the reader turning pages and looking for more. Highly recommend you buy this book and get onto the ground floor of an exciting new author.
Rating: Summary: Captivating Review: Both novellas are so well written that I was completely caught up in the stories and felt like I was a part of the action taking place. This author has much to offer and I look forward to his next novel or novella!
Rating: Summary: You will never see Las Vegas the same again Review: From the first page of this book, I was hooked. Tim McCleaf does an awesome job of painting the story so that you believe you are one of the characters. His ability to paint small towns and make the streets and people come to life allows the reader to relate to the "you can believe they are real" dramas. His down home writing style and depictions will capture your mind from the first chapter to the last. Both novellas are definitely must reads and ones that you will not be able to put down once you start.

It was a fast reading book that I couldn't put down.
The references to actual places made the book believable and fun to read. Thank-you Tim McCleaf

Rating: Summary: For They Know Not What They Do Review: Two great stories! The first - "Let Me Die" - kept the suspense and the attention to the very end. "For They Know Not What They Do" was non-stop action. Graphic enough to get the point across. I enjoy reading but don't have time to get involved in lenghty novels. These are perfect. Couldn't put them down. Encourage anyone who enjoys suspense to read. You won't be disappointed.
