Review: Ms. Glenn brings mastery to the craft of writing with this intricate mystery set in Paris at the fin de siecle. Few authors today can boast such wide command of language, technical expertise, and feeling for the subtle nuances of the human condition. Her characters are real, the mystery compelling to the end, and the world she takes the reader through springs to life on every page. Bravo! A beautiful timepiece, a mystery on a par with any I've read before or since. I can't wait to read more from this author.
