Review: There is so much mystery surrounding the ancient Mexican cultures that used to live in the "cities of pyramids." They suddenly disappeared! How? Why? Where? Well, the theories are out there, but not one has been proven to the satisfaction of all. In this exciting fiction mystery/adventure, I find Hayman's presentation of a new theory involving spiritualism, ritual, and the rare black jaguar fascinating, to say the least. The book takes you back to a time that is hard for us to understand, difficult for us to believe. But, as I started turning the pages faster and faster to see what was going to happen next, I was transported back to that time and the idea made sense! Yes, you have to stretch your imagination, but a novel that makes you do that is worth reading. This is a great story!
