Summary: Tough Enough To Keep Moving Until He Solves The Case
Review: Pat's friend, Sally Morse, lands a speaking part in a play at Carmel's Forest Theater. Benjy Noble, the author of the play and winner of a Pulitzer Prize the previous year, is found stabbed to death on the Forest Theater stage. Pat and Reiko are hired to investigate the murder. Pat is an engaging figure full of self-deprecating humor but tough enough to keep moving until he solves the case. When Pat stumbles, Reiko is often there to save him. Reiko is a tiny spitfire with great instincts. This book is well worth reading.
