Summary: too predictable, too strange
Review: A.T. Nicholas achieves something the Left Behind Series fails to do, elevate the contest between good and evil without beating you over the head with it. This engagement, from the foundation of the Earth, has been played out before all Creation as a witness to all the hosts of heaven as well as the inhabitants of Earth. I suspect Mr. Nicholas has absorbed some C.S. Lewis in his lifetime.

I would also recommend a superb novel by Jerry Furland, "Transfer-the end of the beginning". I wonder if "I am the Alpha and the Omega" verse from the book of Revelations may be a sub theme in this remarkable thriller in which cutting edge technology enables a digital utopian nightmare.

Summary: CLEAN VERSION NOW AVAILABLE
Review: I really enjoyed this book and would definately reccomend it. The characters are very likable and the plot is great. It kept me turning page after page - I loved the fact that it is fast paced and doesn't seem to drag a bit.
Some readers were offended by the language. A.T. Nicholas has addressed the issue (though I must say that the language was not a big issue with myself to begin with), and has released a clean version which is available now. So, it should be known that it's the same great story, minus the language.
Oh, and be sure to look for THE REFLECTION OF EVIL, Nicholas' long awaited follow-up, which will be out soon.

Summary: I liked it.
Review: I would recomend this book for anyone to read. James is a great character to follow. His struggle with his faith is well done. Nicholas makes it clear what he wants the reader to get out of the Fist of God. God doesn't turn His back on anyone. I enjoyed the book very much.

Summary: fascinating!
Review: I'm thoroughly amazed that some people have given this book 5 stars.

The storyline is very thin. The plot is virtually non-existant and the sub-plots seem to belong to another book. Characterisation is poor and you have no sympathy or dislike for any of the characters. It is written in the present tense which on one two occasions had the author very confused.

Nothing happens in the book. All of it seems like an idea.

The scariest and most entertaining aspect of this book was the author's photograph on the back cover and the wierd description.

Summary: SIGNED COPY IS A NICE TOUCH.
Review: My copy of The Fist of God was signed which I found very pleasing. It's nice when a writer appreciates his readers. The novel is very interesting. The plot kept me reading for hours at a time. A.T Nicholas' first attempt is a good one, and I will be looking forward to the next book by him.

Summary: GOOD READ.
Review: Not bad for first novel. Kept me reading and interested. Looking forward to the next one.

Summary: CLEAN VERSION NOW AVAILABLE
Review: The Fist of God has a good plot and storyline, but a little thin on character development. It's a fast pace read and interesting, BUT some people are going to be offended by the VERY strong language. I suggest if you don't like books with four-letter words you might want to stay away from this one, OR wait until July for the clean copy. Regardless of the cussing, the message in the book was great.

Summary: WHERE'S THE POPCORN????
Review: This book has movie all over it!!!!! Someone please make THE FIST oF GOD a movie. What a great plot and storyline. I love the charaters, but the best part is the pace Nicholas takes his readers through. And I loved the symbolism. Like when James stumbles over a box of books and the only reason he doesn't fall is because he grabs the hand of a replica Jesus in storage. Great stuff! Looking forward to the next one.
