Summary: Deadly Directory 2003 Another Great Edition
Review: The latest edition of this (almost) annual directory is even better than previous editions. Even if you bought all the others you need this one. This is the only directory of all the mystery booksellers, used and rare book dealers, magazines, websites, publishers, reviewers, events, library collections, awards, gifts, tours, conferences, organizations, dinner theaters, email lists, and audio/video sources in the world! Entries are listed by category (bookstores together, reviewers together, etc. and extensively indexed, even for geographic locations.

If you love mysteries you will love the Deadly Directory. Excellent for locating reading groups, mystery bookstores, people you met a the last convention, author newsletters, hard to find books, mystery tours and weekends, museums, Raymond Chandler's letters -- anything that exists related to mystery fiction can be found using the Deadly Directory.

Each carefully checked entry includes (as appropriate) a contact name, address, phone, fax, email, and website addresses along with a brief description. The little identifying symbols have been moved from the entry header to the descriptions so entry names are easier to read and Kate is using a new printer but otherwise it is the same clean, easy to use layout.

Also includes a calendar of annual events -- fan conferences, awards presentations, mystery author workshops, etc. -- and a list of those that are now defunct, RIP, so you don't have to look all over for something that no longer exists.

This is a supremely useful book. The only one of its kind and no one could do a better job than the keeper of the Cluelass website!
