Rating: Summary: this book got me fired Review: a horrible piece -- once you start reading, you won't stop. so better not start late on a sunday night, as I did. If you do, and you ever suspected that someone's after you, it might turn out to be your boss... was it worth it? yes, INDEEED, every single page, and -let's face it- you'll be glad if you're only losing your job...

Rating: Summary: A Great Read for a Long Journey or Vacation Review: I loved it! Great characters, especially Vera with a mix of cranky behaviour but also comedy. There's something for everyone and an interesting central story that you really care about. A real adrenalin rush. Highly recommended - a gripping yarn and I thought the dialogue was great.

Rating: Summary: Absoutely terrific! Review: Talk about page-turners! I read this book in one all day-all-night session. I forgot to eat and drink I was so swept away by it. It just builds and builds, and the characters are so real. When the first of them died I was so suprised and shocked. It's really funny too, especially the booze-hound Vera and her acid tongue, but more than anything else its just plain scare-you-to-death city. Of all the books I have read this is the one I would hammer down the doors to watch as a movie.
