Review: I picked-up a copy of The Confession by Remington Rose, based on word-of-mouth. I was not disappointed and neither will you! A startling debut of a novel, this is a knockout. An intense and chilling read. The writing style crackles with insightful erudition into the mind of a controlling psychopath named Dustin (you instantly hate this guy, yet his mind is so complex you are morbidly curious to find out what makes him tick). I look forward to more from Remington Rose. Not for the faint of heart. Highly recommend. Thank you Remington!

Summary: An educated examination of a psychopathic mind
Review: The opening grabs you and it doesn't let go until the bitter end of the book. Remington Rose is truly knowledgable on the subject of an abusive mentality. I know the book is a novel and is fictitious, but it still sends chills up and down one's spine.
I imagine there are people as dangerous to themselves and others as Dustin in this thriller of a horror story, but I certainly hope there are darned few of them.
But even Dustin, as sick of soul and mind as he was, responded to the love that he was surrounded by. I won't tell about the ending except to say that it was not as I had expected.
At any rate, I have to give The Confession by Remington Rose five stars for a suspensful and readable book on a bvery important but difficult subject.

Review: Truly brilliant and superbly written. I am captured immediately by this first person account of a man obsessed by the torment of his own life and the pain that has been inflicted upon him as well as the live of others he has hurt. Dustin becomes so very real as he tells his horrific story and the characters surrounding him take on life and personage so human that one has to be brought to the reality that such things can and due exist in the world today. I thank Remington Rose, minister and therapist, for being so brave as to show us the pathology around us that she in her novel and we all together can help prevent or at least resolve. A must read!
