Rating: Summary: A dramatic, searing saga of the desire for retribution Review: Silent Flight, Devoted Pursuit by Lynnita Mattock is a dramatic novel of Kate and Caroline, two sisters who learn that their beloved Aunt Beverly is missing, and as they hunt for her, they come across a terrible greed-filled scheme of fraud and theft perpetuated by ruthless men. Silent Flight, Devoted Pursuit is recommended as a dramatic, searing saga of the desire for retribution, and the mystery of chance meetings with souls in need.
Rating: Summary: I couldn't put it down Review: This book embodies the spirit of America. The places are real-I grew up near there. But the people are real in a big way too. Each could be a neighbor or a coworker or even someone who rides your bus. They are people who face the problems people in our nation face daily and they tackle them head on, desiring to do what is right. They face them with strength and resolve and they come out victorious. That is the spirit of America. This is a great book.
Rating: Summary: Silent Flight Review: This novel is an excellent read, with mystery and romance combined. The homeless and how they deal with their situation is an underlying theme. You can't help but realize that what happened to Aunt Beverly is not just a piece of fiction. I particularly like the character development of the two sisters and the glimpses of their home life. Their determination to find Aunt Beverly as well as make a new home for a homeless child is heartwarming.
