Rating: 5 stars
Summary: fascinating insight
Review: I picked this book just because the plot sounded good. It's a love story that begins when U.S. Marines rescue a group of civilians in Grenada. One of those civilians, a teenage girl, knows that she'll never forget the Marine who protects her. When the event is over the Marines march on and so does time. That teenager grows into a television producer and is working in New York when she runs into that Marine in a restaurant. They date and fall in love... it's great. But, what really was fascinating about this book was all of the inside information about how the Marines do things. Especially because our military is so active again, I've been wanting to know what exactly they do when they are assigned to a situation and how they know what kind of action to take. Starr knows how the Marines organize to take quick action and how they work out the specific tasks involved in any situation. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys a good romance and has a relative in the military.
