Summary: Extremely suspenseful, very entertaining!!
Review: I stayed up into the wee hours finishing "Heart in Her Pocket," and it was worth it! Its suspense and surprises throughout make it a page-turner all the way to the last page. It's a riveting romance and mystery that, in my mind, truly puts Mobile, AL on the map. Makes me want to go there during Mardi Gras, the way "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" made me want to see Savannah. This is a "two thumbs up" type book that would make a great movie.

Review: This was an exciting mystery which incorporated historical facts of Mobile, AL and Mardi Gras in the late 1800's. The added bonus of weaving historical events (with pictures) throughout the story added depth and believability. I especially enjoyed background information on Mardi Gras which originated in Mobile. Well done! I would highly recommend this book.
